ringback tones

Hey ya'll, watch this! Actually, that just came to my head, there's really nothing to watch, did someone say that like on a movie or something?

ANYWAYS...

I just got this cool new thing on my cell phone that Verizon has called, Ringback tones. It's just this totally unnecesary thing to entertain people when they call me. Don't tell anyone but it's really part of my secret campain to get more people to call me;) he he So yeah, give me a call and tell me what you think!

BTW if you happened to be one of the lucky few to have caught my blog the other day while I had my "bridesmaid dress" post up, that wasn't really the dress we are wearing;0 I got a few inquires about that, plus I made a mistake (oops) in naming the bridal party. Anyways, that's my news! Me and Teresa are going to go blow up some balloons now for dad's birthday tomorrow! 49 Years old!! WOAH BABY!;)

I have returned

I'M BAAAACK! I just spent a week with a friend of mine out in Victor, ID where she and her husband live. If you look at a map it's only about 12 miles away from Jackson Hole, WY. It's cool cause once side of the Teton's is Jackson and then you go right over top of them to the other side and you are in Idaho! It is an absolutely beautiful view from both sides, I must admit. The weather was cooler there than here so it was kinda fun to "start" fall early.

We were able to hike a couple days (with bear spray of course, kinda freaky), do some target shooting in the back yard, have a b-day party for her adorable 3-year-old nephew, bike along the mnt. range, hang out with family and friends and Esther even found time to try and hook me up with 2 guys so I could live out there by her:) We had a blast, for the most part it was extremely relaxing, so I enjoyed that. We also got to go visit the site for their house they are building. Esther's husband, Beau is a builder along with his brother and dad.

Esther and Beau have had kinda a rough year with health issues, church problems, and the miscarrage of their first baby, Sadie Grace, who is buried beneath a wooden cross in the middle of a morman cemetary on the hillside. They are just such an amazing couple, I love talking with them and just hearing thier wisdom and listening to their perspectives on things. They are a special couple and you can definitly see how they lean on God in all circumstances that come their way. I'm just so thankful for the time I was able to spend with them and their family again.

These two mountain views are awesome. The one on the top is taken from their house looking down over the Victor, ID valley and at the teton range. Smack in the middle of the mountains in that picture is about where the road is that you go over to get to Jackson Hole, if that makes sence. Then the picture on the bottom is looking up at their house, it's on this other small range of hills. They have an AWESOME view!!

Today was the most fun I've had in a long time. I had the day off work because McKenna's parents took her up to Mackinac Island for the weekend (they are bringing home chocolate fudge for me!!) I took some allergy medicine last night to hopefully help me sleep better during the night. It not only helped me sleep good all night, but almost all morning too! I woke up to light streaming through my blinds, grabbed my glasses, and when I could finally see my clock it said "11:08." I could not believe I slept that long! I guess it felt nice, I'm thankful I didn't have anything that really needed to get done so I wasn't in a hurry. I got up, grabbed some breakfast and sat down to FINALLY get started on my Israel video. I was getting so giddy even thinking about it! Yesterday I handed off 10 hard copies of the graduation video I had previously been working on. WOAH! Clean plate, can't explaing how nice it was to have that out of my house! So anyways, I was maybe half way through the Israel video when my friend Beka texts me (on my new mp3/video phone), asking if she can come over cause she's out on this side of town and doesn't have to work either. So we looked through the Israel video a bit (cause she was there too) and watched a couple other fun videos I had on my computer. I found one that Jen made for me a few years ago when I left for my first year of college. I remember watching that thing all the time, I love that video! So now that Jen and our other friend Kristen are away at college, we decided it was high time we whip up a little somethin' somethin' for them to watch! I can't give away all secrets yet because I haven't sent it to them yet but it was fun...kinda crazy (as I'm sure you can believe if you know Beka at all) but I had a blast. We taped a little at my house, then went out to her house for a little bit and her dad and Gabe were just getting back from dropping off her little brothers at the high school football game. I guess they were all painted up, put their loveseat in the back of the old pickup and sat on that on the way to the game! It was so unbelievibly crazy, they probably would have gotten in so much trouble had a cop seen them! (but isn't that exactly my way of thinking"....won't we get in trouble though?";) Anyways he took us off roading through their woods, it was a very "redneck" thing to do, but when I wasn't thinking, "this could so be my last day on earth!!!" ....it was pretty fun:) So then we drove around a little more and came back to Beka's to hang out and a few other people showed up.

So today is Saturday and I'll finally finish this blog:) Last night after I got home, I finished the project for Jen and Kristen AND I am almost done with Israel, I just need to get a few pictures and voice recordings from people. HAHA, as far as raw footage goes...I had about 2 hours of Israel tape and about 1 1/2 hours of graduation tape. It took me 3 months to complete the grad. video and about 3 days for Israel. Hm....:)

Just Curious

So I have this incredibly curious nature about me. If I meet someone new, or hear about something I tend to use every resource out there to get more information about this person or thing. If it's an event or whatever it's pretty easy to just google and go from there. It's just about as easy for looking up a person. So anyways, I guess not everyone is like that and it probably freaks ppl out when I know things about them that they didn't tell me...:)

Anyways, yesterday there was FINALLY an ad in the classifieds for a baby bike trailer for cheap. So I call them and leave a message asking them to call back. So just out of curiosity I look up their address by googleing their phone number. Common knowledge right?? So it gives me the address and I print out mapquest directions cause I planned on going out there last night. The whole time I'm telling myself, "remember, you didn't get these directions from these people so you can't forget to ask..." So the guy calls back and I ask him a few questions about it and then I go..."Alright, I'll be out there in like 30-45 min." Then all of a sudden realizing I hadn't gotten directions from HIM, he's probably like what is this lady talking about! So I'm like umm... actually can I have directions? It probably sounded so dumb and I felt really dumb...maybe, just maybe, I'll learn my lesson.

Planning...oh how fun

Alright, lately I've been feeling like I am the BIGGEST planner in the world...but the whimpiest doer. Some of it is just dreaming, some planning. Like my 'upcoming trips' to Ireland, France, Egypt, Europe tour, Switzerland...and my moving to Jackson Hole and/or Israel. Then there is always my becoming a student at MSU or Cedarville and living in a dorm...I also plan to start a budget, buy a Subaru and my dream house. Not only that, but traveling cross country by bicycle, actually asking people my questions about life, going canoeing in Canada, hiking Pictured Rocks, traveling the east coast, memorizing the Sermon on the Mount and learning what it means, make a cool Israel movie and date the first guy who can figure out what my dream date is ("so that's why you've never had a boyfriend, mriss..." haha j/k)

-Ambitious to an excessive degree- hmmm....

Who know's what it is, sometimes I feel like God put a bowl of dutch chocolate TCBY yougurt with gummy bears in my hand and told me not to eat it:) I have all these exciting plans of stuff that I COULD do, but why don't I? None of them are wrong necessarily. Am I not content now? Is this just one big circle? If I were to 'accomplish' some or all of this list, would I be satisfied with life? I don't think I would. If I'm not at the very least, completely satisfied with God - none of these would fix that desiring heart of mine. I just feel jipped (back to the TCBY part), I have such exciting desires but seem to lack the ability/strength/courage to carry them out! How frustrating (where is the punching bag when you need it;). Speaking of punching, my sister just told me I wasn't a very good singer...by punching the wall and waking the whole house up, rather than opening her door and telling me to be quiet. How rude.

Oh dear, it's about that time of night. The time where those random thoughts of life and people come to mind.

McKenna TOTALLY counted something ALL by herself the other day! I am so proud of her I could cry! We were walking out of Frederik Meijer Gardens, back to the car, and we pass motercycles that were parked. So not only does she know exactly what they are and starts yelling, "sicle, sicle ( like pop-sicle)" but then she goes.... "two scicle." I just wanted to stop and tell the whole world that this genious 18 month old just counted! Boy, how could I ever leave her? AH! I'll have to make sure she's a real brat the week before I plan on leaving (if ever).

I made these really cool cards for a couple friends' anniversaries... I hope they hurry up and have them, cause I'm so proud of them!

I got to go to a MSU football game today, first ever football game other than high school. I had a blast! It was an absolutely georgous day and MSU kicked butt. And the game was free, and my dad bought me a pretzel and peanut m&m's. Tomorrow is Sunday so I must be signing off.
