Could it really be? Could I really be doing this!? My cousin, Nick, works for United Airlines and has offered to take me with him to Amsterdam in the spring for a VERY low cost. I couldn't be more excited. We have relatives there whom we can stay with to keep costs down and help escort us around this amazing city we like to call, "The Motherland." He told me United puts out these seat pocket magazines with articles giving ideas of what to do in 3 days in a City. He sent me the one for Amsterdam and I can't wait to see all these museums, windmills, canal boat rides... Seriously, I'm absolutely geeked. THEN, I was talking with my dad yesterday and he just mentioned that Paris (yes folks, PARIS) is only a 4 hour train ride away from Amsterdam. How much more excited could I get than geeked (because I was previously, already geeked before finding that out)!? So anyways... it's almost 100% sure that we'll be headed that way some spring of 2010. I'm a little nervous because it'd be flying a buddy pass and I know you don't ALWAYS get on your flights with those but I'll trust him to get me there and the rest is dream trip come true!
