Holy - response to previous post

What DO I know of holy? How can I understand? Can I even? Take something that I am not... a bumble bee for example. Can I understand the workings and mind of a bumble bee? I can study it's actions and figure out a few patterns possibly and make guesses as to why he does something, but can I really understand why and what he's thinking? I don't think so because I am so far removed from what he is - I've never been a bumble bee.

Is it the same with the Holy, Almighty, completely Awesome God? Can I really understand His ways? Am I not expected to? He wants us to know Him... but that could be totally separate from understanding Him and His ways.

In conclusion.... I'm not far enough along in thinking this through that I have come to a conclusion :)

It's so true - I knew all the stories and learned the words to say... but they are as empty words on a page. What great lyrics to sum up how I feel sometimes. All too often I give "Sunday school" answers. I know better than to do that, I know that doesn't mean anything.

So I guess if I can't totally understand God and His ways...I just should KNOW them and believe them? That's where faith comes in? We don't understand, we just believe. Hm... that's starting to make more sense. Really, all I know is who am I? Who am I?
