happy

i had a major happy moment this morning when i opened up my bank of america app on my phone and saw that the recent update included the addition of a 'deposit' option. my sister's bank offered this like last year and i've secretly been a little jealous of her every time that i had to go miles out of my way and spend hours waiting in line to make a deposit - okay, maybe it wasn't that bad, but i still thought the app idea was pretty sweet...and now i have it! it's super neat, you just take a picture of both sides of your check and hit 'enter'! yay - deposits are fun again!

another thing, this week i found out that smith optics is sending me a brand new pair of sunglasses. for free! my old pair had some bubbling action taking place on the lenses and they were also pretty scratched so i was about to just throw them away when my friend told me she sent hers in and smith covered them under their warranty! so i figured it was worth a try and boy was it ever! i definitely did a little happy dance at my desk when they called to tell me. what's even cooler is that my model had been discontinued so i have a $120 credit for a brand new, more stylish pair :) shout out to smith optics!!

in other happy news my car broke down this week... okay, not something i actually did a happy dance for, but i want to be joyful in all circumstances so we'll focus on what is happy. i'm glad for helpful friends who offer to take me places or let me borrow their cars. i get to drive a big truck this week which is fun, i forgot how much i love driving my dads truck whenever i go home! 

Oh, and my daddy bought me and my sister some real earrings. Real jewelry is special when It's a gift rarely received ;-) ...plus being from someone you love!
